OKC Dodgers 4 – Sugar Land Space Cowboys (Houston) 3
OKC got still another walkoff win. This one in 10 innings. Gavin Stone started his third game of the season, and we still have not seen the Gavin Stone we saw last year or in ST. He got through the first three innings without any runs. He did allow a single and surrendered two walks. But in the 4th, Justin Dirden led off with a HR.
In the 5th, Stone walked Grae Kessinger that was followed by a 2 run HR by Dixon Machado. The next batter drew another BB, and after 83 pitches, Stone’s night was done. Mark Washington entered and got through the 5th without further incident.
After Washington pitched a scoreless 6th, Tayler Scott, Justin Bruihl, and Nick Robertson pitched the next 4 scoreless innings, with Nick Robertson pitching the last two and got the win. Only one runner reached 2nd with the four relievers, until the 10th, with a runner starting on 2nd. The inning ended with that runner still at second.
Down 3-0, OKC kept chipping away. In the 5th, after Drew Avans and Michael Busch walked, Luke Williams double Avans home. But Busch and Williams were stranded at 2nd and 3rd when the next two OKC hitters struck out.
In the 7th, Avans walked, stole 2nd, and came around to score on another Luke Williams double.
In the 9th, down 3-2, Devin Mann opened the inning with a BB and moved to 3rd on a Michael Busch ground rule double. Luke Williams was intentionally walked to load the bases. Steven Duggar struck out, and OKC was down to their last out. Ryan Ward drew a 4 pitch walk to force in the tying run.
After Robertson got through the top of the 10th, Ben DeLuzio started at 2nd. Hunter Feduccia walked. Bradley Zimmer grounded into a force out. Zimmer stole 2nd, and with one out, Devin Mann hit a Sac Fly to score DeLuzio for the walk off win.
It was not pretty, but OKC got the win. OKC had 4 hits (3 doubles), but 14 walks. They were 2-12 WRISP.

Midland RockHounds (Oakland) 10 – Tulsa Drillers 8
This is a game that Tulsa will want to throw away. Midland scored six runs in the 7th to take a 10-6 lead, and held on for the win.
Tulsa jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the 1st. Jorbit Vivas hit a one out double and scored on an Andy Pages single. Brandon Lewis hit a 2-run HR for the 3-0 lead.
After the great outing in his first game, Emmet Sheehan struggled in this one. In the 3rd he gave up a solo HR, a single and double to get 2 runs back.
In the 5th, Tulsa got the runs back. Josh Stowers and Jonny DeLuca singled with Stowers moving to 3rd. DeLuca stole 2nd, and Pages singled home both runners for a 5-2 lead.
Emmet Sheehan lasted 4.0 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits (all in the 3rd), 1 walk, and 9 strikeouts. Emmet had the strikeout pitch working, but the HR, single, double in the third did him in.
But it was Lael Lockhart that got trounced. In the 6th inning a single and HR got Midland back to within 1.
Tulsa got another in the 7th with a Pages BB, followed by Brandon Lewis and Diego Cartaya singles to plate Pages. This was Cartaya’s 2nd hit and 1st AA RBI.
In the home half of the 7th, the first four Midland batters doubled, singled, doubled, and singled, and Lockhart was removed for Jordan Leasure. Leasure got the first batter he faced on a K. The K was followed by a single, walk, and single. After a flyout, Leasure balked home the 6th run of the inning, and a 10-6 lead.
The Drillers scored two in the 9th, and loaded the bases, and Jorbit Vivas flew out to end the game.

Great Lakes broke out of their season long batting slump to score 9 runs on 12 hits.
Yeiner Fernandez got the first run on the board with a 2-out HR in the 2nd. In the 3rd, Taylor Young drew a walk and moved to 3rd on a WP. Young scored on a Chris Alleyne double.
With Yon Castro on the mound, the Dragons got the runs back in the 3rd with a walk, single, stolen base and double. Yeiner Fernandez picked off the runner at 2nd. Castro followed with 2 walks and a HBP, and Braydon Fisher came in to relieve Castro. Fisher proceeded to strike out the next two batters on 7 pitches to get out of the inning.
Fisher struck out the side in the 4th. Fisher has now pitched 3.0 innings in three games and retired all 9 batters he has faced, striking out 8 batters.
The Loons put up 5 in the 5th with a bevy of XBH. Austin Gauthier led off with a HR, and Taylor Young followed with a double. The next two batters popped out and struck out. Alex Freeland walked and Damon Keith hit a 3-run HR. Dalton Rushing followed with a triple and scored on a Griffin Lockwood-Powell double. That was a walk and 5 XBH (2 HR, 2 doubles, 1 triple) for five runs.
Michael Hobbs replaced Braydon Fisher and walked five batters for two runs in 0.2 IP. Christian Suarez came in to strike out the batter with the bases loaded to end the inning. Suarez pitched two more scoreless innings allowing 1 hit, but compiling 3 more strikeouts.
The Loons got another in the 6th after Austin Gauthier led off the inning with a single, moved to 2nd on a ground out, and scored on a Jake Vogel single.
Austin Gauthier singled for his 3rd hit of the game and scored on a Chris Alleyne triple.
Benony Robles replace Suarez and got roughed up for three runs. He gave up a double, and walked three consecutive batters for one run. Jake Pilarski relieved Robles and gave up an infield single and walk to score two more runs, both charged to Robles.

Rancho scored two in the first inning, fell behind 5-2, scored two in the 8th and 4 in the 9th for the come from behind victory.
Two batters into the game, and the Quakes had a 2-0 lead. Rayne Doncon singled and scored on a Chris Newell HR.

The Rawhide scored 4 in the 6th. With Pinales still on the bump, a single, double, and ground out scored the tying run. The double was followed by a BB, and a single scores the go ahead run. The last batter Pinales faced walked to load the bases. Livan Reinoso relieved Pinales and threw a WP to score one, and the 4th run of the inning scored on a fielders choice.
Reinoso pitched a scoreless 7th.
In the 8th, Rayne Doncon singled, moved to 2B on a WP, and scored on a Kyle Nevin single. Nevin moved to 2nd on a catcher throwing error, and scored on a Thayron Liranzo single.
Jeisson Cabrera struck out the first two batters he faced in the 8th, hit a batter and got Druw Jones to fly out.
The Quakes scored 4 in the 9th. Nick Biddison and Dayton Dooney singled and moved to 2nd and 3rd on a throwing error. Jose Izarra hit a 2-run double or the lead. Doncon got his 3rd hit, and Izarra moved up to 3rd. Chris Newell singled to score Izarra, and Kyle Nevin followed with a single to score Doncon.
Madison Jeffrey pitched the final inning allowing a single, and struck out three for his first save of the year.
