OKC Baseball Club 4 – Round Rock Express (Texas) 2
Eduardo Salazar was the starting pitcher for OKC. The first two batters he faced singled, and the runners were on 1st and 3rd. One runner scored on a DP and Salazar got out of the inning by striking out Sam Huff.
Salazar did not allow a second run until the 6th. He gave up an inning opening double, and after two outs, gave up a run scoring single on his 78th pitch. Gus Varland relieved Salazar and got the final out.
OKC scored a pair in the 3rd. Jonathan Araúz reached on an error. He moved to 2nd on a Kody Hoese single, and scored on a Trey Sweeney single. Andy Pages singled to load the bases, and Hoese scored on a sac fly from Ryan Ward. Miguel Vargas drew a BB to reload the bases, but OKC could not push another run across.
In the 4th, Jonathan Araúz started the rally again. This time with a single. After Hoese grounded out, Araúz moved up to 2nd. Trey Sweeney drew a BB, and Pages singled home Araúz, and a 3-2 lead.
OKC pushed another run across in the 8th with Kody Hoese getting the run scoring single.
Gus Varland, Michael Peterson, and Ricky Vanasco pitched a scoreless 7th – 9th with Vanasco getting his 3rd save.
OKC did not get an XBH.

Justin Wrobleski (pictured) pitched a solid 5.0 innings. He gave up an unearned run in the 1st on an infield single, SB, fielders choice, and E5 to allow the run to score.
In the 2nd, Justin surrendered a pair of doubles for an earned run.
Tulsa tied the score in the 3rd with solo HRs from Dalton Rushing (2) and Brandon Lewis (1).
The Drillers moved ahead in the 5th after a single, BB, and an Austin Gauthier run scoring single.
Logan Boyer relieved Wrobleski and could not record an out. He allowed an opening single and 3 BB to force in the tying run. Michael Flynn relieved Boyer and inherited 3 runners. Flynn struck out the first batter he faced, and then induced a 5-3 DP to keep the scored locked at 3.
Juan Morillo relieved Flynn in the 8th. He walked the first batter he faced. After a K, the runner stole 2B and scored on a single. Michael Hobbs got the final out in the 8th, and retired the side in order in the 9th.
Tulsa had runners on base in each of the 6th through the 9th inning. They had the bases full with one out in the 8th and Brendon Davis up. Davis hit into a 5-4-3 DP to end the threat.

Patrick Copen was the starting pitcher for RC. Stockton opened the scoring with a run in the first after a single, SB, passed ball, and single. Copen completed 3.0 innings and only allowed the one run.
In the bottom of the first, Kendall George attempted to reach 1B via a bunt, but was thrown out. Josue De Paula singled, stole 2nd, and scored the tying run on a Zyhir Hope single. Jake Gelof slugged his first HR and a 3-1 lead.
David Tiburcio relieved Copen and surrendered the tying runs after two walks, two SB, and a 2-run double.
RC broke the tie in the 7th. Juan Alonso drew a BB, and moved to 2nd on a WP and scored on a Wilman Diaz single.
In the 8th, Jerel Perez singled and scored on a Cameron Decker double (1). Decker scored on a Carlos Rojas single. Two singles by Wilman Diaz and Kendall George brought home Rojas.
Callum Wallace, Reynaldo Yean, and Christian Ruebeck completed 4.0 scoreless innings to get the win. Yean got the win and Ruebeck got his 1st save.
Kendall George’s single in the 8th was his 2nd hit in the season. But his OBP is an even .500 because of the 9 walks. He has only struck out twice.
