The Dodgers beat the Padres 6-0, and in so doing, they have not only won this series, but with a 7-2 record against SD, they have formally won the season series. If the Dodgers and Padres tie at the end of the season, the Dodgers get the tie breaker.
Blake Snell pitched a scoreless 6.0 innings. But it was not without stress. Snell is going to owe Will Smith for this game. Three Padres looked to steal off Snell, and Smith threw all three out. Smith threw out Fernando Tatis Jr. trying to steal 2nd after he singled to start the game.
Later in the 1st, with runners on 1st and 2nd, Luis Arreaz and Manny Machado took off and Smith threw out Machado at 2B to end the inning. In the 2nd inning, Xander Bogaerts opened with a single and was promptly thrown out by Will trying to steal 2nd. As Snell said after the game, Smith got 3 outs and Snell got 3 outs in the first two innings.
This was the first game Snell has faced San Diego since he left the Padres, and only the 2nd time he has faced them in his career. 9 years ago to the day (08-16-2016), as a member of Tampa Bay, he pitched 5.0 innings allowing 1 run.
It was a typical Snell outing who threw 24 pitches in the 1st inning and 96 for the game. He allowed 2 doubles and 3 singles, with 2 BB, and an un-Snell like 3 K.
The Dodgers turned 4 BB and sacrifice fly for 1 run. But with 2 outs, Dylan Cease was looking to get out of the inning allowing only 1 run. However, with the bases loaded, 2 outs, and a 3-2 count, Michael Conforto hit a 2-run single, and a 3-0 lead. Conforto would go on to have a two hit night.

The Dodgers got a gift two runs in the 2nd. With 2 runners on via the walk. Freddie Freeman hit a long fly to right center that Jackson Merrill misplayed and dropped the ball for a 2-run error.
Dylan Cease walked two more batters in the 2nd.
Then Freddie Freeman hit a fly ball to center field that Jackson Merrill couldn't catch.

Dylan Cease’s chase rate is 83rd percentile and 95th percentile for whiffs, but the Dodgers did not chase in this game. Thus, Cease walked 6 batters in the first two innings, and five scored.
The Dodgers got some excellent relief pitching from Edgardo Henriquez, Anthony Banda, and Jack Dreyer. Henriquez is going to be a weapon if he continues to have command with that 100+ MPH pitches. He is going to be tough with a 98+ cutter to go with the 100+ 4 seamer. Edgardo struck out Ryan O’Hearn on 3 pitches, the last one 103.3 4-seamer.
Edgardo Henríquez absolutely LIT UP the radar gun in tonight’s game ⛽️

Fernando Tatis Jr. worked him in the 8th with a 1-out, 8 pitch BB. That was 19 pitches, and the final pitch he would throw in this game. Anthony Banda came in with a runner at 1st and 1 out. He got Arreaz to pop out, and then struck out Machado on two electric sliders that Machado was impressed with and told Banda so.
After getting the one out save in Friday’s game, Jack Dreyer came back out on Saturday and retired the side in order on 16 pitches to end the game.
In two games, the starting pitching has gone 6.0 innings each, and allowed 1 run, a Ramón Laureano HR that hit the foul pole. The also trotted out 8 relievers (7 different pitchers) for 6.0 innings. In total they allowed 3 hits, 2 BB, and 2 HBP. It was Vesia’s 2 HBP that gave generated the one run the relievers allowed.
It is not as if the offense had gotten off the ground and lit up SD pitching. They had 9 runs (7 earned) on 9 hits and 10 BB, and one very big error. A big two out two RBI single by Michael Conforto, and two solo HR by Teoscar Hernández.
The series finale should be another nice pitching duel between Tyler Glasnow and Yu Darvish. Bring out the brooms.
MiLB GAME SUMMARY REPORTS
Albuquerque Isotopes (Colorado) 7 – OKC Comets 5
Matt Sauer started for OKC and in 5.0 IP, he allowed 5 runs on 6 hits, including 2 HR accounting for 3 runs. He walked 3 and struck out 4. Michael Kopech relieved Sauer in the 6th. While not perfect, it was a big improvement over his last outing. He pitched a scoreless inning with 1 hit, 1 BB, and 2 K.
LHRP Robinson Ortiz was recently promoted to OKC. It was his 2nd promotion of the season after being promoted to Tulsa from Great Lakes. This was his 2nd game with OKC. He pitched a scoreless inning issuing 1 BB and striking out 1.
Logan Boyer and Ronan Kopp each pitched 1.0 inning allowing 1 run on 3 hits apiece. Kopp also issued a BB.
In the 1st, the Comets put together singles by CJ Alexander, Ryan Ward, and Luken Baker to plate 1 run.
In the 2nd, Chuckie Robinson singled and scored on Esteury Ruiz’s triple (2).

Down 5-2 in the 5th, with one out, CJ Alexander doubled. Ryan Ward and Luken Baker both walked to load the bases. Alexander scored on a force out, and when the Isotopes could not turn the DP, Ward raced home for the 2nd run and reduced the lead to 1.
The Comets scored their final run in the 7th after Ryan Ward doubled and scored on a Luken Baker single.
- CJ Alexander – 2-5, 2 runs, double (17)
- Ryan Ward – 2-3, 1 BB, 2 runs, double (28)
- Luken Baker – 2-3, 1 BB, 2 RBI
- Nick Senzel – double (13)
- Esteury Ruiz – triple (2)
Tulsa Drillers 5 – San Antonio Missions (San Diego) 3
The Tulsa Drillers added another notch to their season-high winning streak on Saturday night. For the third straight game, Tulsa fell behind early to the San Antonio Missions but again recovered to earn a 5-3 win.
The win did not come easily. With one out in the ninth, the Missions had runners and first and second and the go-ahead run at the plate, but reliever Jerming Rosario induced a game-ending double play to secure the victory and his first save of the year.
The victory was the Drillers eighth consecutive win and keeps them in position to claim the final playoff spot in the Texas League North Division. The Drillers currently hold second place by four games over Northwest Arkansas, but only trail first-place Springfield by two games. If the Cardinals win the second half, the team that finishes in second place in the half claims the second playoff berth.
The Missions took an early lead in the first inning when Devin Ortiz began the game with a double and Fransico Acuna followed with a bunt that produced an error that allowed Ortiz to score.
The Drillers gained control in the bottom of the first and held the lead for the remainder of the game. They began the first with a double and two walks to load the bases. Chris Newell single produced the first run, and Nelson Quiroz’s sacrifice fly brought home a second.
Tulsa added three more runs in the third. With one out, Taylor Young was hit by a pitch and promptly stole second base. Young scored on Griffin Lockwood-Powell’s single. John Rhodes and Eduardo Guerrero each drew walks, and both scored on an RBI single from James Tibbs III to put the Drillers in front 5-1.
The first-inning run was the only blemish on starting pitcher Jackson Ferris’ line in his 22nd start of 2025. The top pitching prospect allowed one run on three hits and three walks in five innings pitched.
The night for Jackson Ferris is over, and he turned in another GREAT start!
5IP 3H 1R 5Ks 3BBWe know that when Ferris is on, it's lights out for the other team. But, what he's been doing better is getting through the tough spots and grinding out good outings even when things… pic.twitter.com/5f6IT0a1U6

Brandon Neeck was next on the mound, taking over for Ferris to begin the sixth inning. The Missions earned two runs back on Anthony Vilar’s two-run triple. Before Saturday, Neeck had not allowed a run in his last seven appearances over 7.1 innings.
The bullpen did not allow another run for the remainder of the game. Jeisson Cabrera, Kelvin Ramirez and Rosario each combined to hold the Missions scoreless over the final three innings.
In the ninth, San Antonio produced two singles, but Rosario got out of the jam with a double play to end the game.
The Drillers last won eight straight games August 16-23, 2017. Tulsa has not won nine or more consecutive games since the Drillers set their franchise record of ten straight wins May 28-June 8, 2016.
Newell reached base twice in the game to increase his on-base streak to 29 straight games.
Zach Ehrhard earned two hits and has reached safely in all 11 games he has played in since joining the Drillers on August 2.
During the eight-game winning streak, Tulsa’s pitching has not allowed a home run.
Great Lakes Loons 7 – Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee) 0
Josue De Paula rejoined the Loons tonight. And while he did not reach base, it was good to get him back.
The Loons pitched a combined 3-hit shutout with 4 pitchers. 21 year old LHSP Adam Serwinowski, started and got through 5.2 innings. In the 6th, Serwinowski walked one batter and hit another. Myles Caba relieved Adam, and gave up a single into LF. Samuel Munoz threw out the runner at the plate to end the inning and to preserve shutout.
The night is done for Adam Serwinowski
5.2IP/2H/0R/6Ks/4BBSerwinowski has been incredible since coming over to the Dodgers organization. He's given up just 1 run in his 3 outings with the Loons, and that spans 17 innings. #dodgers pic.twitter.com/VKXDS6zFkI
— Dodgers Daily (@dodger_daily) August 17, 2025
Caba went back out in the 7th and retired the side in order. Joel Ibarra pitched a scoreless 8th with a BB and 2 K. Nicolas Cruz pitched a perfect 9th to complete the shutout.
For the game, in Serwinowski’s 5.2 scoreless IP, Adam allowed 2 hits, 4 BB, and 6 K.
In the 6th inning, the Loons used 5 BB, 3 SB (2 by Kendall George), a Logan Wagner 2-run double, a WP and PB to score 4 runs. George had 3 total steals on the night, and now has 82 on the year.

In the 8th, the Loons scored another 3. Eduardo Quintero drew a leadoff BB and stole 2nd. Logan Wagner drew a 1-out BB. With 2 outs, Elijah Hainline singled to score Quintero and with a play at the plate, the catcher threw the ball away and Wagner and Hainline came all the way around to score.
Both teams had 3 hits. No Loons batter had more than 1, and Wagner’s double was the game’s only XBH.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 7 – Visalia Rawhide (Arizona) 3
The Quakes earned a second straight series-win within the division, thanks to a fourth straight road win in Visalia, a 7-3 victory over the Rawhide.
Chase Harlan hit a three-run homer in the first and Emil Morales hit a three-run double in the ninth, as the Quakes rolled to a fourth win in five games of the series.
Rancho starter Jesus Tillero pitched 2.2 innings of scoreless work to start the night, but it was Shawn Oduber (4-2) who got the win with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief.
With the Quakes up 7-3 in the ninth, the Rawhide put two men on with one out against Cody Morse.
Connor Godwin was called upon and after giving up a single to load the bases, earned the final two outs while protecting the four-run lead, earning his third save of the year.
The Quakes will send Brady Smith to the mound on Sunday at 2pm, as he’ll make his Cal League debut.
- Emil Morales – 3-4, 1 HBP, 1 run, 3 RBI, double (6). Morales is now batting .317 with an OPS of .950 after joining RC.
- Jaron Elkins – 3-4, 1 BB, 1 run, 1 RBI, double (28)
- Chase Harlan – 2-5, 1 run, 3 RBI, double (2), HR (3)

Where is everyone this morning. No posts for hours?
Clearly this team is capable of beating anybody when those that must actually do. There is up to 2 1/2 months left in this season. With a group so susceptible to injuries can they hold it together for 50 some odd games?
1 1/2 Months Badger and only 39 games left. Math goes to hell when we get older. I had the game on my TV but was working on my computer, so I did not watch any of it. Was like the old days listening to the radio. Smith is one hell of a catcher. BA down to .306, but he still leads the league. Padres imploded and LA took advantage. That is what you are supposed to do.
I’m counting October. You’re not?
Badger might be talking through October and not September. Then again, maybe it is age. I am going with the former.
You gotta win the regular season first. October is not a given.
We won, so nobody has anything to complain about. Great start by Snell, relief was very good and we scored 6 runs.
I don’t think Badger was complaining. I know I did not take it that way. I do not think anybody can deny that the Dodgers are injury prone.
Neither do I. My response was to his asking why nobody was posting.
Yes, it’s nice when those who have nothing else to do but bitch, don’t have anything to bitch about!
Let them go to their other sports blogs and bitch about their other teams.
I watched the Rams pull one out with seconds left in the bottom of the 9th last night. That was exciting. And I look forward to the college football season as well. The more distractions I have the better I like it.
Yes, can’t wait to go Opening Day. Hopefully Stafford is healthy
Again, Kendall George is must see tv.
John, thanks for the tip on Biggs Bque! I checked out the menu, and I think we’ll be going there pre game.
Tyler Glasnow has a chance to make a statement today. I think we all would’ve said on Friday morning that we’d be satisfied with taking 2-3 this weekend, but now we have a chance at a sweep. Glasnow can help us get that sweep.
George is on tv? I don’t think I get that channel.
Can he get in base against ML pitching?
I should say, must see laptop. The minor league games are also on the MLB.TV package.
Nice win for the Dodgers. Will Smith’s three assists on stolen base attempts in the first two innings was incredible. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that done in the sixty five years of watching baseball. As with any successful team some luck is necessary every once in a while. Last night was one of those times. We’ll take it.
To say Snell had a great outing is very generous IMHO. He needed 96 pitches to get through only six innings. He gave up 5 hits, 2 walks, and only 3 strikeouts. Thanks to Smith he allowed no runs. It was a team effort to get six shutout innings. I’m sure the team and the BP appreciated his effort.
It was good for the BP to have a six run lead and allow them to pitch in a stress free situation for a change. It hasn’t been the case in most of their games in the past few weeks. If Henriquez can continue to control his pitches, and with the velo, he could be a valuable BP piece.
I’m watching this SD team and I’m wondering how in the hell did they overcome the Dodgers and get into first place? Their offense is OK. Their stars Machado, Merrill, and Tatis aren’t having that good of a season. Their starting pitching overall is average and even less so with King going down. The Padres big advantage is their bullpen. But, with a game like last night the Dodgers neutralized that advantage.
I thought Roberts reactions to Conforto’s two hits was over the top. I mean the guy finally gets a hit after a couple of weeks and Roberts waives his cap like Conforto had broken a record or something. On his second hit Roberts gives him a standing ovation. With that kind of admiration I guess Conforto will be with the Dodgers for the remainder of the season. I’m looking forward to another offensive outburst in the next couple of weeks. I don’t get the reasoning for Conforto still being on the team.
Carry on.
This looked to me Ted, as a pretty typical line for Snell. He typically is not that efficient and his 4.1 walks / 9 and high strike out totals. That takes a lot of pitches. His K-rate was down yesterday but I’ll take it.
I think one thing we have to remember is that Padres pitching coach Ruben Niebla knows Blake Snell better than anyone. The fact that he was able to navigate 6.0 scoreless innings, even with Will Smith’s help, may not have been a great outing with his BB and without his strikeouts, is a positive. Snell will always throw a lot of pitches.
Snell did what Snell does.
Hope he does it for the rest of the season.
Kershaw’s revival has been a revelation.
Hope he keep it up.
Both you and Phil have valid points. Even though the stats were somewhat typical for Snell, my point was that it wasn’t a great outings. Like you both mentioned it was a typical outing.
No big deal on opinion how he pitched. Bottom line, with help from his teammates and a big error by Merrill, they were victorious!
Not that I’ve been a big Conforto fan, but he started the 2 run rally on Friday and drove in 2 runs yesterday with the bases loaded in the first inning yesterday. Prior to that hit, the Dodgers were 1-13 with the bases loaded.
Couldn’t be happier for 2 consecutive wins. Kershaw pitched great in the first. Teo finally showing signs. I guess the excitement is tempered because San Diego has looked lifeless and basically rolled over last night. Cease was awful. Kudos for our team showing patience. Snell was very lucky. Smith bailed him out. He was certainly not the Snell I was expecting with 3 strikeouts. We won but Merrill dropping a flyball in center with us scoring 5 runs on 1 hit (I think) just doesn’t make u feel like the Dodgers are on a roll. Ohtani, Betts, freeman, smith have basically been shut out. Top pitching will usually slow top hitting so the Dodgers did what they needed to in order to win. To give up 2 runs in 2 games is certainly excellent.
Obviously today’s not a must win but it would be damn nice to take it.
Wow, Reds DFAd Jake Fraley! Surprise to me. Has good numbers against LA. But I guess the Reds can live without him. D-Backs called up Nabil Chismatt who had a cup o java with LA last year.
Decaf? Or regular?
Instant in that he was gone that fast
Nice win last night. Not to get ahead of myself but it would be really nice to win today and then sweep the Rockies before we face the Puds again next week end.
Nice to see our pitching put up a goose egg. Snell was great. I have really paid no attention to Henriques during his 6 total innings. That’s my bad. Last night he couldn’t be overlooked at 103 or whatever. At 23 but in his 6th season of pro ball he looks to be to be a closer in waiting. Like many hard throwers, control appears to have been an issue coming up, approaching 6 walks / 9. But this year he is at 2.9 walks per 9. Not awesome for a one inning guy but his stuff looks great to me. Now, if we can keep the kid healthy.
Pretty odd line last night 6 runs on 5 hits. Stop me if you’ve heard this “Walks will Kill You”. Just ask Dylan Cease. He walked six Dodgers in the first 2 innings and 5 of them scored. Thanks
It looked like the Dodgers were going to continue their disturbing pattern of scoring early and then watching as their lead evaporates. Teo’s home run in the 5th helped and stellar pitching late kept the lead. We did a better job of putting the ball in play despite the 5 hits.
I have mentioned before that the Dodger pitchers don’t seem all that committed to holding runners. Last night was better and Will Smith was great putting throws on the money with a quick pop-time. Nice to see what he can do when giving a fighting chance.
I really hope to see a solid outing from Glasnow today. Darvish has a good ERA vs the Dodgers so it should be a good game.
Henriquez has already had a TJ surgery 2022 (August I believe). He and Carlos Duran were a package TJ deal.
Still would like to see some more offense. The 6 runs mostly due to poor SD play.4 walks in inning 1 and 2 run error inning 2.
I thought we saw a new “Dodger” version of Snell–i.e., someone more comfortable pitching to contact. How else do you explain Snell goes six inning under 100 pitches, right? The old Snell wasted too many pitches nibbling at the corners and would rarely get past 5 innings. I like what I saw.
4-Gens, I think too much nibbling is a common affliction for most of the Dodger staff. It seems to be the Dodger Way to get ahead and then throw 3 or more (with foul balls) “chase pitches” to get an out.
We like to trick em. I personally think too many chase pitches, many of which are non-competitive, runs up pitch counts, unnecessarily.
We have some Brand name pitchers that need to spend more time challenging hitters and less time trying to trick em. IMHO
Julian Rodriguez taken off of waivers by the Nats.
I’m not much of a GM, self admittedly, but if I was, I’d be asking myself why I would pickup and activate Buddy Kennedy, as Max hit the IL? Ole Buddy is raking .083 this season for the Phillies, Jays and now the Dodgers in 12 AB’s. He’s a career .193 hitter. Apparently he will platoon with Freeland at 3rd or 2nd until Edmans comes back.
Why?
So, if I really wanted to discourage any of our AAA guys, especially Ward, this would be a perfect example. Miggy and Freeland can cover 2nd and 3rd just fine, for now. I would have brought Ward up for his bat, not his position. Let’s see if the guy can hit a bit and get an opportunity. Adding Kennedy just seems like pouring salt in a wound. If I’m Ward, I can’;t wait to play it out with the Dodgers, get the hell out and start a career anywhere else.
I think this move is bullshit,
Ward cannot play third. I would not read much into his MLB stats, not nearly enough at bats to judge the guy. He has hit well at AAA. He is batting 9th playing third today. Ward has a reason to be bitter for sure. He will get his shot elsewhere.
Bear, I said Wards position doesn’t matter. I know he doesn’t play 3rd. He’s brought up to hit or see if he can hit. 3rd is adequately covered for now with Miggy or Freeland.
I want to see Ward get some AB’s in the Show.
And I think it’s a slap in the face to Ward to drop a rental guy on his head while Muncy heals. These moves can’t do much for morale in the minors.
Ward is not on the 40-man. Kennedy stepped into a 40-man slot when Baker was DFAd. Yes, they could have added Ward then, but the need was not in the outfield. He probably should have gotten the call over Dean. But he does not possess Deans speed or defense. I suggest you submit your disproval to AF.
With Max out the Dodgers have no spare players who can cover 2nd, 3rd or SS. The other day Rojas dove into first and almost injured himself. If he did, the Dodgers would have no one to replace him. Like Bear said, Ward can’t play 3rd.
If this Buddy Holiday person gets a big 2 run hit today, the division is ours!
Kennedy like the political family.
We could use a Holiday…
I wonder why the Dodgers didn’t promote Senzel from OKC.
Hey, Buddy Kennedy could get a WS ring!
Senzel is not on the 40-man, same as Ward. And you know how much AF loves to dumpster dive for players.
Terrence Stamp passed away at age 82. British actor played General Zod in 2 Superman films. First film was Billy Budd in 1962. Appeared in Young Guns as John Tunstall, and Alien Nation. Star Wars 1: The Phantom Menace, Red Planet with Val Kilmer, Valkyrie with Tom Cruise, RIP.
Who is Buddy Kennedy and where did he come from?
Strong start to this game. Darvish is in playoff mode… thankfully, for the Padres. So far, players are doing what we have expected of them. Even Conforto.
Kennedy was picked up off of waivers from the Jays. His only base hit this year came against LA when Toronto was here.
I really like how hard Freeland plays, but I also didn’t realize he’s gone so cold that he’s down to .171!!!
Time for him to pick it up as well. Maybe Colorado will be good to him
For those clamoring for Ward, just look at what Freeland and Rushing are hitting. It’s a long ways up from OKC to Dodger stadium. I’ll take Conforto down the stretch.
Kennedy fits right in. He can’t hit either
Teo’s defense in RF is pathetic. Are we sure his groin does not still hurt?
And then fails to run hard on a hit to CF where should have been on 2B. Of course, Pages bloops one to CF where Teoscar would have scored. If he’s hurt, get him out of the game.
It looks to me like he’s having difficulty running, as in he’s slow. Is he injured?
Objectively speaking, the home plate ump has given us more calls today.
Objectively speaking, get your bp meds ready. This is going to be a drama filled, intense, next 4 (maybe more) innings.
What a deadline pick up! Has Call even hit a ball hard since he’s been a Dodger?
A couple of foul balls yes, but he is a bat to ball guy. Give him a break. He is probably pressing trying to impress his new team.
This will be a big time win or a super gut wrenching loss.
I may need to do pushups to calm down
What a job by Vesia. Overpowering those 3 punks for the save
Big win. A very effective Yates, Kopech and Scott can’t come back soon enough. Diaz scares the heck out of me, Casparius and Dreyer (on their rookie year) have been overused and may need a break.
Great to see Mookie have a big moment and get a clutch HR.
Nice finish by Vesia. Hopefully this means he’s back on track.
Anyone need a broom from home depot? Perhaps a mop for Machado’s tears?
“Interesting, sure looks like the club is about to not only get swept by the Angels, but fall out of first place. I’m not being negative here, just being factual.
The primary reason why the Dodgers are so bad this year as I have pointed too almost the entire season many times, is the awful pitching staff and specifically the bullpen. Not only do they not have anyone to close out games, but there is not one pitcher in that pen that strikes fear in the opposing team. It’s an entire bullpen of below average arms, even Treinen is not what he used to be. Other teams know the Dodgers have a super weak razor thin pitching staff and they smell blood in the water.
Meanwhile on the other side of the ball, management keeps rolling out Conforto, another ohfer and a GIDP. Im surprised he didn’t hit into the triple play.
I do believe that they not only will fall out of first place, but they may not even make the playoffs, and if they do it’ll be as a low wild card seed and they’ll get immediately bounced.
There needs to be a massive change of pitching philosophy in the winter. The pitching staff needs to be rebuilt from the ground up as I’ve said before. Management needs to focus on finding reliable healthy pitchers, who throw strikes, pitch efficiently and challenge hitters.
Here’s the sad part that everyone needs to understand. The Dodgers can’t win the division every year until the end of time. At some point (it’s looking like this year possibly) the Dodgers will not win the division and not make the playoffs. We can’t just assume that everything will work out for the Dodgers every year. Sometimes teams have down years, this reminds me of one, that combined with the mediocre arms on the staff, and here we are.
Again, Im sorry if this comes across negative but Im just being factual.”
The post above is “FAKE” and not posted by me. It appears to be Scott Andes doing fake editing and posting. This is Scott’s post from a few pieces back that I criticized his first paragraph as not being “factual”. There is no reason for you to fake edit this post Scott. You may need help.
Scott not capable of doing that on this site. He is not a writer here.
Michael, somebody fake posted that message above, attributed to me and saying edited by me. I seldom post, and that post is mostly a copy of a comment posted previously by Scott that I commented on. I will always stand by what I post, and if I’m wrong about something, I have no issue owning it.
This comment was neither posted by me or edited by me. I know it is not that important, but in some manner, you have been hacked, and that would be of concern.
Are you really accusing me of posting as you and then fake editing that post? Why in the world would I do that?
You do know we’re both on the same team here right?
I’m not the enemy here.
I did accuse you of doing so Scott, because on the surface, (circumstantial evidence) it appears that it may have come from you. Who else would have cared that I referenced one part of your post as “not factual” when you stated that it was “factual”?
Would anybody else at all care about that? I think not, and that is the reason I called you out. And, until Michael proves otherwise, I stand by my position.
Look dude, I don’t need to fake post anything. I post under my real name and not a pseudonym.
I stand behind everything I post. Sometimes I’m right and sometimes I’m wrong. But I don’t fake post under anyone else’s name. Stop accusing me of something Im obviously not doing, and have no reason to do.
Obviously it wasn’t me. Bear just posted that. I don’t have the ability to do that here.
I don’t care what you post.
Why don’t we ask Jeff, maybe he can figure out who is “fake posting” as your screen name. It’s not me dude.
It was a different email and IP Address than doubledigitmind uses. I have no clue how to search who is behind the email address and IP address that was “fake”.
Thank you Jeff for confirming that it was a “fake” posting. If it is not Scott then it was someone who has a grudge against him and wished to make him look bad if I caught it. Only a real loser would attempt such dirty actions on a friendly Dodger site.
The circumstantial evidence pointed to you as being most likely Scott. If it is not you, then I ask that you accept my apology for assuming it was and calling you out.
Let’s not get too overcome by our success this weekend. It was great, that’s for sure, but we have three in their backyard next weekend. If we take 2 or 3 out of 3 in SD, then we can really celebrate.
While we wait for that Scott, maybe you could give us some more analysis on how AF should replace most of the starting staff for next year.
Have you forgotten about the 4.5 months of terrible pitching, walks, and injuries?
Of course I have. My recency bias (at least for this weekend) keeps me very happy. 😊
Operative word there is injuries. Aside from Sasaki, the expected starting rotation is back. The key going forward is the bullpen. What version of Scott and Yates will we see? Kopech will probably be like he has been, which has been ok. What will be interesting is can Henriquez continue to have good control. If so, he will be huge going forward.
Dodgers are undefeated in games started by Buddy Kennedy.
I really wanted Gio Urshela, but I’ve decided there is something about Kennedy that I like. I don’t expect him to hit (even though his minor league stats are decent), so if I set the bar very low, I can’t be disappointed.
I am herewith planting my flag as a Buddy Kennedy fan.
Max may not get his job back
If Max doesn’t get his job back it won’t be because Kennedy took it from him. It will be because Ollie Oblique grabbed it.
The Friars will never win anything important as long as Machado “leads” that team.
