Modesto Nuts (Seattle) 15 vs Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 11
RC took an 11-6 lead into the 9th. Unfortunately Madison Jeffrey and Christian Suarez surrendered 9 runs in the 9th for the loss. 6 pitchers went to the bump, but only one, Reinaldo De Paula, was effective for more than one batter.
Offensively, the new draftees continue to produce. Nick Biddison hit his 2nd HR as he went 2-5 with 2 RBI’s. Chris Alleyne went 2-5. Yeiner Hernandez went 3-5 with his 14th double and 2 RBI’s. And Dalton Rushing continued his hot bat with a 3-5 night with 2 doubles (3) and 3 RBI’s. In 9 games, 29 AB, Rushing is slashing .483/.619/.793/1.412. Obviously I am not in charge, but methinks he deserves to be pushed to Great Lakes to see how he fares.
