All good things must come to an end. Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched well for 6.0 innings allowing only an unearned run on his own throwing error, but Jesús Luzardo pitched a better game. He completed 7.0 shutout innings on two Teoscar Hernandez hits and 2 BB, to go with 8 strikeouts.
Kirby Yates had his first ineffective outing allowing 2 runs on 2 hits and a BB giving Philadelphia a 3-0 lead. Philadelphia took the lead into the 9th. Mookie led off with a BB and scored ahead of Tommy Edman’s 2-run HR.
Will Smith drew a BB, and Chris Taylor pinch ran for him. Max Muncy pinch hit for Kiké Hernández against the RHRP, Jordan Romano. Muncy struck out and CT was thrown out on an attempted steal. That would make 3 LAD would be base stealers thrown out in the game…Andy Pages, Shohei Ohtani, and Chris Taylor. Mookie did have a SB.
Enough of the worse news, the four LAD affiliates played, with three of them their first of the season.
MiLB GAME SUMMARIES
OKC Comets 11 – El Paso Chihuahuas (Padres) 6
The Comets have won 6 straight after losing the season opener on a blown save in the 9th. The last 4 have been against the Padres AAA affiliate.
25 year old RHSP, Justin Jarvis, was signed to a MiLB contract. In his 2nd game and 1st start for OKC, Jarvis was pitching a no-hit shutout through 6.0 innings. To open the 7th, Jarvis walked the bases loaded, and Ben Harris relieved him. Harris only allowed one run to score on a WP before retiring the side.
The Comets jumped out to a 10-0 lead after 6.0 innings. In the first inning, Hyeseong Kim and Dalton Rushing singled with Kim moving to third. Kim scored the first run on an Alex Freeland ground out.
In the 3rd, Chris Okey drew a BB and Kim hit into a force out. Rushing singled moving Kim to 3rd. Freeland singled to score Kim and move Rushing to 3rd. Eddie Rosario hit a Sac Fly to score Rushing.
In the 4th with 2 outs, Kody Hoese drew a BB and Chris Okey and Kim hit back to back doubles to score two more. Rushing singled for the 3rd time to score Kim. Freeland singled moving and moved Rushing to 3rd. With Rosario at bat, Freeland was picked off and thrown out, but not before Rushing scored the 4th run of the inning.
In the 5th, after 3 walks to Comets batters, Chris Okey singled to score 2.
In the 6th, Rushing and Rosario singled and moved to 3rd and 2nd on the throw. Outman hit a rocket ground ball to 1st (103 MPH) to score Rushing.
With a 10-1 lead, Julian Fernández entered in the 7th, and was hammered. Before exiting with only 2 outs in the inning, Fernández surrendered 5 runs on 4 hits and his own throwing error. Logan Boyer relieved Fernández and got the final out.
Ryan Ward doubled in the bottom of the 7th, moved to 3rd on a WP, and scored on a fielding error.
Logan Boyer retired the side in the 9th to secure the victory.

NWA Naturals (KC) 12 – Tulsa Drillers 11
Jackson Ferris started and was able to complete 4.1 IP before reaching 75 pitches, calling for automatic removal from game. Ferris gave up a lead off double to Gavin Cross. After an infield single and Sac Fly, the Naturals had a 1-0 lead.
Tulsa scored 4 in the bottom of the 1st. With one out, Chris Newell and Aaron Bracho hit back to back solo HRs. With 2 outs, José Ramos and GLP both drew BB and scored on a John Rhodes double.
In the 2nd, Sean McLain tripled and scored on a Taylor Young single. Young stole 2nd, and 3rd, and scored on the catcher’s throwing error.

In the bottom of the 5th, José Ramos hit a HR.
Benitez allowed a single and walk in the 6th and after recording 2 outs, was relieved by Ronan Kopp, who got the final out.
In the 6th, Taylor Young was HBP, followed by a Chris Newell BB. After a fielder’s choice moving the runners up, Young scored on a WP.
In the 7th, Ramos doubled, and GLP followed with a 2-run HR. Ezequiel Pagan tripled and scoring on a fielding error.
That is when it all went downhill. With a 9 run lead in the 8th, the Naturals put up 10 against Jose Rodriguez and Kelvin Bautista. KC retired the side in order in both the 8th and 9th, and NWA snatched the impossible victory.

- John Rhodes – 1-4, 1 BB, 1 double (1)
- Sean McLain – 1-4, 1 run, 1 RBI, triple (1)
- Ezequiel Pagan – 1-5, 1 run, triple (1)
Lake County Captains (Cleveland) 8 – Great Lakes Loons 1
The Loons jumped out to a 1-0 lead. Josue De Paula singled followed Zyhir Hope reaching 1B on catcher’s interference. De Paula and Hope pulled off a double steal with De Paula scoring on the catcher’s throwing error. That would turn out to be the only Loons run.
Patrick Copen pitched 3.2 hitless shutout innings before giving way to Evan Shaw. Shaw got the final out in the 4th, and pitched a hitless and scoreless 5th inning. Copen hit his 75 pitch limit (79). He struck out 9, but walked 4. Shaw struck out 1 but walked 3.
In the 6th and 7th innings, Joseilyn Gonzalez and Robinson Ortiz combined to allow 8 runs, on 8 hits and 4 walks. That was the game.
- Josue De Paula – 1-4, 1 BB, 1 run
- Zyhir Hope – 1-3
- Logan Wagner – 1-4, double (1)
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 16 – Lake Elsinore Storm (Padres) 9
With 3 SS in the game, Kellon Lindsey played SS, Joendry Vargas played 3B, and Nicolas Perez played 2B.
Kellon Lindsey led off the game for RC with a double on his first professional PA. He moved to 3B on a WP, and scored the season’s first run on an Eduardo Quintero SF.
Lindsey led off the 3rd with a BB, and moved to 3B on a Jaron Elkins double. Quintero walked to load the bases. Lindsey scored on a WP and Elkins scored on a Joendry Vargas single.
Hyun-Seok Jang pitched 3.0 hitless shutout innings. In the 4th, Jang gave up 2 BB and 2 singles for a run. Jang finished the 4th.
RC scored 7 in the 5th, to take a 10-1 lead. Elkins led off the inning with a HR. Quintero singled, stole 2nd, and scored on a Vargas single. Vargas stole 2B, and after a batter reached on a fielding and a BB loaded the bases, Oswaldo Osorio was HBP to score one. Victor Rodriguez had a run scoring BB. Lindsey hit a sac fly. Elkins singled to plate Osorio. After a BB loaded the bases, Victor Rodriguez scored on a balk.
Just like with the Drillers game, apparently no lead is too big. With 2 out in Jholbran Herder’s 2nd inning, he allowed 4 runs on 5 consecutive singles and his own throwing error.
RC scored 2 in the 6th, one on a Victor Rodriguez triple.
RC scored 2 more in the 7th, after Elkins’ 3rd hit, followed by Quintero’s single, a HBP, and 2 BB.
A grand slam off Quakes reliever Cody Morse in the 8th, tightened the score again.
2 walks and a Samuel Munoz single scored the final run.
- Jaron Elkins – 4-5, 1BB, 4 runs, 2 RBI, double (1), HR (1)
- Eduardo Quintero – 2-2, 3 BB, 3 runs, 1 RBI
- Joendry Vargas – 2-6, 1 run, 3 RBI
- Kellon Lindsey – 1-4, 1 BB, 1 SF, 2 runs, 1 RBI, double (1)
- Victor Rodriguez – 1-4, 1 BB, 1 run, 2 RBI, triple (1)

Horrible baserunning cost this game.
The worst move IMHO goes to SO. Why would you try to steal in this situation down 3 with runners on the corners and Mookie at bat ?
Puzzling.
But hey,we got that first loss out of the way now. Lets make it 161-1. 😀
Good day for Rushing at AAA. He needed that after going 0-5 with 5 Ks the game before.
Lets see what Sasaki can bring today.
Go Dodgers!!!!!!!!!!
It’s Roki time!
Kim, leadoff hitter for OKC, got on base 3 times and is slashing .296/.925. For me, this is the best news out of OKC. The CF there, Outman, went 1-4, raising his average to .158. Sigh. Rushing is playing 1B. I wonder how good he is defensively. Catchers playing first make sense to me. They can scoop throws in the dirt. Freeman might be out a while.
Eric Gagne is working for the Canadian bat company B45, specializing in making custom torpedo bats. From breaking bats to making bats.
Question for the group, as long as a bat is made out of wood, should it be ok to make alterations to it? My bat making friend experimented not only with shapes, moving the sweet spot down, changing arcs and bats speeds etc., but also with 10” oak dowels drilled into bats, at both ends. Not cork, all wood with some interesting exit velocity results.
P.S. – I think you’d like this guy Jeff. His mother was a professor at USC in the late 60s and early 70s. He went there for a few semesters, had some interesting run ins with the football team. I think Ron Yary tipped his car over. Something like that anyway.
Agree on Kim showing life. Keep it up !!
If Kim keeps hitting he might be up by the end of the month. Pages or Taylor could be in trouble. Kike also not looking good.
I watched the AAA game because I don’t have Apple TV. Rushing doesn’t look comfortable/ natural playing first. He looked awkward catching the ball to me. I also prefer first basemen to be tall. I think he or Will is going to have to move to third or Rushing traded. Will could potentially move to first also. I haven’t seen Rushing catch much, so I don’t know if he will play there in the Majors.
Next year should see Rushing as Will’s back-up then after that the gradual beginning of a job share.
I agree that, all things being equal, height is a good thing in a first basemen.
You mention that you think Rushing is a little short for the position and maybe they should think about moving Will over there. Only problem with that is that Will is an inch shorter than Rushing.
I didn’t know Will was shorter. He looks bigger than Rushing to me.
Happy for Kim. Future super-utility man.
I missed Ron Yary by a couple of years, but I heard stories. That dude was a beast.
Yeah, and he had ‘tude. He was the kinda guy that, if for some dumb reason you didn’t get out of his way he might just pick you up and throw you to the side. He apparently didn’t like hippies, which my friend was – long curly hair with a stove pipe hat. Tim Rosovitch helped him turn the car over. What a way to meet celebrities, ey?
Ultimately, our best lineup may come when Kim progresses enough to be called up to play 2B…..move Edman to CF…..we can then move Pages and or Outman out of LA.
I like Taylor Young but he’s slightly miscast at 3B.
The first four of Rancho’s lineup are 🔥
Wow! 161-1. What a disappointing season! Top 7 making all the noise. Bottom 6 couldn’t get a hit off a batting tee right now. Everyone is complaining about Roki, but look at the start our other option has going in Boston
Well, start #3 feels like a big one for Roki, mostly to show progress and not screw the bullpen.
Miller, Gonsolin & Wrobleski are all waiting in the wings.
We got some new names to watch this year in the minors. Did Sirota play?
No
Thx. Hope already homered today
Both Hope and De Paula should be in AA.
Great pitching by the Phillies. Bad base-running by the Dodgers. Game was a little sloppy in the beginning. After not making any errors their first six games, LA has 5 in the last 3.
I just noticed something:
Take a close look at Edman’s bat in the picture above. Zoom in on it. You can see the ball strike marks on it. And where are they? They are all down the bat, inches away from weight and max barrel diameter of the bat. THAT is where the sweet spot of the bat is and THAT is where the torpedo bat has put the mass. Hitters, like Muncy, just have to get used to the feel. The bat, which weighs the same, feels lighter because the mass is closer to the hands. Another problem is that spot on the bat travels slightly slower through the strike zone (the end of the arc travels faster – think crack the whip). Does that affect distance? Didn’t for the Yankees.
Physics my friends.
The bottom two of this lineup is sucking mud. Pages, Rojas, Hernandez, even Muncy batting 7th, and Taylor if he ever plays, are not getting on base in front of Ohtani. Conforto is OPS’n over 1.000. Until further notice he should be batting 9th. And come on Kim. Keep OPSn .925 and maybe you’ll be slotted in there.
1 o’clock game today.
Great stuff my friend. Happy Birthday to my granddaughter Charlyssa.
Snowing here today. About 20 degrees outside.
Great day today, kids! I’m off the huge Edmonton-LAKings game at 1pm today, where I’ll also have the Dodgers on my phone.
Not sure I could handle a 2 game losing streak, so let’s win this.
There are going to be games like this. Outside of Teoscar Hernández and Tommy Edman, the Dodgers left their bats at the hotel. Yamamoto should have got out of the 1st without a run, but then again, it was his bone head error. Kirby Yates’ bad outing on this night.
Pages getting picked off the one time he got on base…via BB. Ohtani getting thrown out, and Chris Taylor on the back end of a strike out/throw ‘em out DP. And of course, Max was on the front end of that play. I don’t think there is a pitch that Kiké won’t swing at. If I was a pitcher, I would not throw him a strike.
Let’s face it, this was just ONE bad bad bad game, and still one the Dodgers could have won. Yamamoto got through 6.0 IP and 97 pitches with no earned runs. As he gets more efficient, those 97 pitches could mean 7.0 IP. The oft-maligned Luis Garcia pitched well in relief of Yates. Edman now has 5 HRs, one less than Aaron Judge, and this one was hitting LH.
Even though there are enough positives to still walk away from such a game and feel okay, there are players and situations that could portend trouble down the road. The pitching was not the problem. They held the Phillies to 3 runs (2 earned) and effectively shut down Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper.
I am not sure that there isn’t something wrong with Miggy Ro. Even with his one hit, he looks totally uncomfortable and lost at the plate. In 20 PA, he is now 2-19 (both singles). He has only struck out 3 times, so he is making contact. Defensively, his reaction time on ground balls seems to be tick slower. If you look at Trea Turner’s spray chart over the years, he is predominantly a pull hitter. Maybe Miggy should have cheated a bit more to the line. I know, I know…hindsight is always 100% accurate. Or maybe he is cheating more to his left to help with Mookie’s range. I am not sure that Mookie has enough arm to make that throw deep in the hole. There are plenty of SS that can and have that range. I know, I know…Mookie is the SS. Regardless, that ball that TT hit had an 81.1 MPH exit velo and I have seen Miggy make much tougher plays. He was also nowhere close to 3B on Yamamoto’s throw to catch Turner in the 1st.
Andy Pages is supposed to be a LHP masher. One might expect his 2025 numbers against RHP to a degree. 20 PA, 2-15 (one double), .133/.350/.200/.550, 3 BB and 8 K. If he were hitting LHP one might be a tad more forgiving against RHP. But against LHP in 13 PA, Pages is struggling. He is 1-12 (single), .083/.154/.083/.237, 1 BB and 4 K. Overall – .111/.273/.148/.421, 4 BB, 12 K (36.4% K rate). Pages is certainly not in the lineup because of his CF defense.
Kiké has not seen a pitched ball that he will not swing at. He has started 6 of the 9 games, all at 1B. In 23 PA, Kiké is 2-22 (both HR), and slashing .091/.087/.364/.451, with a 34.7% K rate. Kiké is more of a 2-outcome approach hitter right now.
Max is another who is not in the lineup because of his “D”. In 29 PA, Max is 3-26 (2 doubles) and slashing .115/.207/.193/.399 with a 41.3% K rate.
All that and the Dodgers are 8-1. They have not started to hit as a team. They are hitting HR, and still hit well with 2 strikes. The game is never over for them. Even last night they could have won. Forget this game. I predict they will lose more games this year, and look worse doing so. But the trend lines with Andy Pages, Kiké, Miggy Ro, and Max will need to be watched. At what point do the Dodgers bring up Hyeseong Kim to play 2B and move Edman to CF. Although Edman looks to be pure gold at 2B. Maybe Kim to CF?
Results at OKC don’t necessarily transfer to Dodger lineup
I have said that for years. But how long of a runway do you give these guys? We know Kim plays better defense than Pages…by a lot. Could he hit worse? I am not advocating making a change now. Not even this month. But how long are you giving Pages? Kiké?
You know I’m a Kim fan. So I don’t wait long.
You know, because we fans have so much say into these decision, don’t we have to give Bluto his runway? 😃
Some days I feel like I’ve run out of runway!
How long did Outman get last year? The All-Star break?
Stands to reason Pages gets that long, no?
That said, I’m heartened to see Freeland getting time at 3B. The Dodgers are lacking at good offensive depth at that position (probably more than any other?) and also creates another path to MLB for him.
No, Outman was gone after 37 games, he came up when Mookie went down but was sent back out and returned for a real short stint in August.
Outman was also a better defensive CF giving him more of a deserved runway. 37 games? That is May 7. Even with his porous defense, I can see that.
Thanks Bear!
It just felt like longer with Outman last year, I guess.
It could extend well beyond 37 games, in theory, if Pages does better than what was done last year….
When you say better, are you just talking offense?
I’ve observed the Dodgers preference offense over defense, but maybe that’s an incorrect observation or no longer the prevailing wisdom.
No problem Bluto
I prefer someone with a little power in CF. Kim should stay in the infield. Maybe Edman can play third.
Let me preface by saying that I am a huge Sandy Alcantara fan. And IMO, the longer the season goes, the better he is going to get. But there are too many mock trade guessing pundits out there with a blog platform who think the Dodgers are the favorite to land him. Why? Is pitching a need for this team? With five quality starters (okay maybe 4 right now), and Gonsolin/Ohtani/Kershaw all getting ready to be in the discussion, do they TRULY need another RHSP, even one as good as Alcantara? They also have Miller/Wrobleski/Knack/Frasso/ Jarvis (?) in the wings and Sheehan due back this summer.
If the Dodgers are going to possibly overpay for a player, I would go after Boston’s Jarren Duran. Boston needs pitching, and has Roman Anthony waiting for his opportunity. Duran is a Southern California kid who played at Long Beach State. He plays CF. He led MLB in doubles and triples (tied with Corbin Carroll) last year. Plus 21 HRs. He is a plus plus defensive CF. He was a +17 DRS and a +5.2 UZR last year in CF. He was also a +10 OAA (95th percentile) last year.
Forget Luis Robert Jr. Trade for Jarren Duran. I have been on the Jarren Duran trade for over 2 years, but maybe this could be the year Boston considers it?
Totally agree Jeff. Pitching is not a need for this team.
I think it is time to send Pages to OKC and bring up Outman to play CF. Heck, the Big Red Machine did just fine with a light hitting defensive CF. I am already tired of the Pages show.
The other alternative is to bring up Kim or Bote to play 2B and move Edman to CF.
Totally agree Jeff. Pitching is not a need for this team.
Agree on Pages needs to go figure some things out in OKC, Outman deserves a shot, again, to own CF. Give him the nod and let him know this is his position, so he can relax and just play. Outman plays a pretty good defensive OF and he can’t be any worse at the plate than Pages. Poor defense and poor offense don’t equal a starting position for me, adios Pages, time for a change.
I would love that trade a lot more than Robert Jr. Send them Miller and Gonsolin.
Barnes hitting 9th and getting the start today over the hot Will Smith.
Last season Will Smith wore down in the second half of the season after putting up all star numbers in the first half. His work load needs to be cut back from what it was last season. Phillies have a lefty going tomorrow, not a bad day to give Smith a rest. He would have the day off tomorrow normally, so why not today instead.
Roberts sucked last year and is off to an awful start although it’s really early.
Wow! I don’t remember you mentioning this player in the past Jeff. But, at my age that is not uncommon. A trade for Duran to solve the CF issue sounds doable. The Dodgers have ample pitching to use in a trade. The Dodgers have made the phrase “you can never have too much pitching” irrelevant for probably the first time in baseball history. Give some of the youngsters an opportunity to pitch in the majors. And, more important, solve a big hole in the Dodger lineup.
AF, make it happen!
Ketel Marte placed on the IL by the D-Backs. Royals traded for Nick Gordon of the Orioles.
The 2025 LA Dodgers roster churn is about to start. Matt Sauer is in Philly according to Fabian Ardaya. Someone is going on the IL. Yates after his so-so performance last night, Casparius or Dreyer?
Hopefully Garcia
Doubtful those guys go on the IL.
The Dodgers’ bottom 4 players in the lineup today have an OPS of .399, .421, .451, and .000. Barnes has had all of 3 AB all season, so that is hard to be overly critical. OTOH, the lowest OPS for Philadelphia’s lineup is .508, Alec Bohm. The second lowest is .669, and that is Bryce Harper. Hopefully the top 5 in the LAD lineup can do some damage.
Hard to buy an entire lineup. We need some future positional help from our prospects. Jeff, is there anyone in our system, you think has all star potential?
Keep an eye on Hope and DePaula currently at Great Lakes
For position players, it is hard to say. I do not see any at AAA or AA. I like Rushing, but he cannot be an All-Star as a backup catcher, or even sharing the catching duties with an already existing All Star catcher. Alex Freeland can be a MLB player, but I do not see him as an All-Star. You probably have to drop down to A+ and A to find true candidates, but it is hard to give any of them that label when they have not yet reached AA. That is the big step up. I am really anxious to follow Josue De Paula, Zyhir Hope, Eduardo Quintero, Kellon Lindsey, Joendry Vargas, Jaron Elkins…
Great list. Morales a bit behind that group developmentally.
Morales will be making his US debut in the Arizona Complex League. While he has impressive noted skills, it is hard to envision an MLB All Star with only DSL experience.
Dream and little dream with me
Cassidy, I don’t think they need all stars from the prospects. With Ohtani, Mookie, Freddie, Teoscar, Smith, Edman, Conforto that should be enough. Field your position, an OPS .600+, a few HRs, and a high baseball IQ would be OK with me. A solid, everyday ballplayer.
Jeff is right. The bottom of the order sucks right now. Just like last year. But, they finally turned it around the last third of the season.
Kiki did have a HR today and Max finally broke out with three hits. Pages will be on his way to OKC if he doesn’t start to do basic baseball things. Barnes is Barnes. He’s does what is expected of him. Any offense is a bonus. CT3….
enough said.
Muncy’s fine
Pages is closer to fine
Pages has made some boneheaded moves on the bases. He got away with one, but not this last time. If he starts making contact, it will improve his chances of not being sent down.
Did someone show Kiké a calendar that said it was October? 3 hits – 3 HR for Kiké in 2025.
Never fails, everyone asking for Muncy’s head on a platter and he comes up big with 3 hits.
HAVE A DAY, MAX!!!!
BP post is ready when needed Jefe!
OK. When the MiLB games are done, I will add that and then publish.
Works for me.
Nice win. LA is still too dependent of homers to score. All the runs in this series so far scored on homers. Nice game for Muncy.
That’s not a problem.
Not right now it isn’t, but when they start facing some really good pitchers, it could well become one. And they are missing one of their best hitters right now.
Love the thought of Duran roaming CF for us, Jeff, so I decided to head to the Trade Simulator to see what they say it would take.
Yikes!
Rushing plus Ferris plus Stone plus Ryan plus Sheehan.
or
Rushing plus Ferris plus (DePaula or Hope or Freeland).
Anybody here willing to do those deals?
I’m not thrilled about it. I think I’d rather put Edman out there and ride Kim at second.
How good is our bullpen?!!!! So far this season.
Bullpen A+
Starters B+
Offense B-
Defense C
Pages F
Haha
Pages did draw a walk in his final at-bat.
I don’t believe the people who say he’s adapting to a new approach.
But there are no scraps in our scrapbook.
No, and neither is Boston.
Plus he’s a homophobe.
Hadn’t heard about that incident but googled it and saw a long question/answer session he did with the writers after it happened. He seemed contrite and well spoken but maybe he just had some good coaching before he stepped to the mic. No excuse for that kind of behavior but he seemed to accept full responsibility.
I do think that there’s two positions we can improve on as the season goes on. Third base and centerfield that’s going to be the weakness. Muncy is just God awful at third base and theres going to be games where he costs us games because of his fielding. Arenaldo is out there at the deadline I can see them going after him with Muncy going to Cardinals to play first base. That’s where Muncy is born to play 1B and DH. The other is centerfield so yij step back and look at all the cebteefiekders and who would look good as a Dodger. Well the Twins always trade withbthe Dodgers. So I would go grab Bryson Buxton from the twins to be your every day player and bat him in that number nine hole. Those two accusations I could see at the trade deadline and then see how your lineup looks. Arenaldo and Buxton.
You are not allowed to say this.
–Assistant to the management
Hey, you owe me a taco.
It wasn’t Ruiz.
Wanna go double or nothing?
I say Pages is playing for OKC by this time next week.
A. Way too early to judge any player. Many players have had slow starts. Including Buxton. Cardinals won’t trade for Muncy to play first simply because they moved Contreras there to get him out from behind the plate. Arenado is off to a good start and if he keeps it up, it will take more than Muncy to get him. St. Louis would want pitching, not Muncy. Buxton most likely won’t be traded by the Twins. He is 31, Arenado is 34. Dodgers need to get younger, not older. Dodgers could have gotten Arenado before the season if they really wanted him. I think that window has closed. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Muncy is adequate at third. He had a bad game. It happens. And his bat seems to be waking up 35 HR guy with a high OPS, and a team friendly contract. I think you ought to wait until at least the end of June before you start talking about trades. Teams like the Twins are not going to just trade their best players, especially if they are in the race at the time.
All true I was just saying where the dodgers were week at which two positions if needed at rhe trade deadline. And Chris Taylor oh my gosh he needs to go some where else this is last year of him he just gets up there and swings for the fences or strikesout. He needs to go see Keke batting coach that he saw last year. We just need base hits from you Chris or bunt guys over we have homerun hitters.
