On the Mound
Beau Burrows started and did not look like he was going to get out of the 1st inning. A single, 2 walks, another single for the first run before the 1st out. The first out was a sac fly for run #2. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the third run was scored on a steal of 2nd and a catcher throwing error. After the first, Burrows pitched 4.0 scoreless innings. In the 6th a double and single gave the Aces their 4th run. Burrows final line was:

In the 9th, with the score 12-3, and Jon Duplantier on the hill, Cole Tucker singled and came home on a Cooper Hummel HR. After one out, Duplantier gave up a single and walk and Daniel Zamora relieved Duplantier. After the 2nd out, Zamora allowed a run scoring single before he got the final out.
At the Plate
In the third, three singles by Tomás Telis , Drew Avans, and Miguel Vargas scored a run, and left runners on 1st and 3rd. Avans scored on a Zach McKinstry sac fly.
In the 6th, Michael Busch struck out, but reached 1st on a WP. Jason Martin walked, and Jacob Amaya singled to load the bases. Telis singled to score Busch, but was out rounding 1st. Three straight walks forced in two more runs and a 5-3 lead.
OKC scored 5 in the 87th, with the key hit a 3-run HR by Jacob Amaya. In the 8th, Jason Martin hit a two out triple and scored on Amaya’s 3rd hit and 4th RBI on the night. The Dodgers final run was scored on a walk, single, fielding error, and sac fly.

Clayton Beeter drew the start for the Drillers. He went 3.0 scoreless innings allowing one hit and 2 walks. Beeter struck out 6 in his 3.0 innings. Alec Gamboa relieved Beeter in the 4th. In his 3.2 IP, he allowed 4 hits and 1 BB. Gamboa struck out 5.
Clayton Beeter had a solid outing for Tulsa, and it was fun to watch – there were swords, jelly legs, and even some hitters shouting colorful… thank yous, on their way back to the dugout. Yeah, thank yous, I'm sure of it 😂

There was serious traffic in the 7th. With Gamboa pitching, Andrew Bechtold singled. With one out, Bechtold moved to 3rd on a double.by Leobaldo Cabrera. Matt Wallner was HBP to load the bases with one out. After a strike out, Jose Adames relieved Gamboa and struck out the final batter in the inning to stop the threat.
Adames and Gus Varland pitched the final two innings without a baserunner and with 2 K’s each.
At the Plate
In the third with one out, Jeren Kendall walked and stole 2nd. After the 2nd out, Kendall stole 3rd, and scored on a balk. Devin Mann drew a walk. James Outman followed with a single, and Mann went to 3rd, and scored on a WP.
In the 5th, with 1 out, Leonel Valera walked. Devin Mann doubled with Valera scoring. He took 3rd on the throw and scored on a sac fly for a 4-0 lead.
In the 7th, Brandon Lewis homered (5) and a 5-0 lead, and the final score.

On the Mound
The Loons proved they could win a slugfest. Tonight they proved they have the pitching chops as well.
Kyle Hurt and Lael Lockhart combined on a 2-hit shutout. Hurt started and pitched the first 4 innings. He threw 57 pitches (32 strikes). He did not allow a hit. He issued 3 base on balls, but had 8 K’s in his 4.0 IP.
Lockhart pitched the final 5.0 shutout innings. He allowed 2 hits, but issued only 1 walk. He had 6 K’s in his 5.0 IP. Lockhart threw 71 pitches (43 strikes).
At the Plate
In the 1st inning, Jorbit Vivas walked followed by a José Ramos hit a 2-run HR (6). That is how the scored remained into the 8th. In the 8th, Alex De Jesús singled. He came around to score on an Eddys Leonard single and fielding error by the RF, making the score 3-0. That is how the game ended.
Inland Empire 66ers 13 vs Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 5
On the Mound
Quakes’ starter Huei-Sheng Lin was solid over 3.2 innings, as he allowed two runs (one earned).
The Rancho bullpen had a tough night though, as Jhan Zambrano (1-1) gave up four in the fifth, as the 66ers took the lead for good. They added three more in the sixth against Osvanny Gutierrez, then put it away with a four-run ninth against Reinaldo De Paula.
