The best part of his cycle for me is that as a left-handed batter he had two hits to center field and two to left field. He looked like Freddie Freeman slicing the ball to left field.
James Outman is indeed very athletic.
Jason Martin is just plain overlooked. His grand slam as a left left-handed batter went to left field.
I agree Jason Martin has been overlooked. He will be north of 30 maybe 35 HRs before the year is done, currently at 99 RBIs and .953 OPS. How does that not warrant a call up to the Bigs. His problem was/is, he has 0 remaining options. I am sure he has opened enough eyes that some team than needs a LH hitting OF will sign him next year. I just hope it is not San Diego. He is from Orange County. Maybe LAA.
Outman is playing his way onto the LAD roster for next year.
